Abstract

Twenty samples were obtained from the Kyoung nam Red Cross. These samples were Anti-HCV positive and determination of the HCV genotypes from RT-PCR which uses types-specific primers.

1. As a result, six strains detected type I (30%), four strains detected type H (20%), and each five detected type III, N (25%).

2. In conclusion, each strains were detected to different type, and RT-PCR which uses types-specific primer were a very efficient method in the determination of HCV types.
